Attention all you adults out there! There are no A’s being given when it comes to Canadians and their physical activity! Heck, we did not even get a B! It’s a big, red D on our report card and this is something to be concerned about! It’s time to get our hearts pumping, and our bodies healthy! The recommended amount of physical activity for a Canadian adult is 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week and the first ever “adult report card” from Participaction gave an even lower score…a big, red F, citing that “just 16% of adults” achieve this goal.
