What The World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love!

Each February, A Body In Motion Rehabilitation selects a recipient of our “Love to Share the Love” Campaign! For the month of February, we will run a fundraising campaign with the proceeds aimed at helping those who need us most! This year, we have selected Forest Heights Collegiate Institute’s English Literacy Program.

We have had the pleasure of working with many of the staff members, and families that are a part of this close knit school community. In doing so, we have learned of the needs of a very special program that serves approximately 65 students who have all had limited or interrupted schooling as a result of their lived experiences in countries around the world. Many of these students come to Canada with little more than the clothes on their backs and have experienced traumatic loss and potential violence and abuse.

Many of these students do not have the funds for school supplies and have never seen some of the electronic resources that many Canadians use on a daily basis. Funds collected will go directly to student learning and program development and would make a monumental difference in the lives of these children!

We are asking our fabulous clients to help us share the love! We would love your help…no matter how large or small…a loonie, a toonie…to facilitate an improved educational environment for these little scholars!! ABIM will match all donations received!

Last year, our incredible clients, colleagues and our team were able to raise over $1100.00 for Parkway Public School to purchase therapy based equipment for the playground and the gym!

Thank you for helping A Body In Motion “share the love”! #sharethelove
