Exercising After Giving Birth

I have this conversation again and again with my new moms and I always say “I get it”! I was that new mom that, after the delivery of both of my girls, NEEDED to get back to exercise! Hard, tough, sweat forming exercise! Run, jump, lift and the list goes on!

I am now that Pelvic Health Physiotherapist that sees what too soon of a return to exercise can do to our bodies and ladies, I am here to tell you…it is not worth it! Your body has gone through trauma…no matter how you look at it, it needs time to heal! And as much as I love the time spent with my new moms, I want to keep that time to the very bare minimum!

So please, read this article and please give your body time to heal! You will be grateful that you did! ❤️
