Physical AND Mental Health

The importance of mental health is at the forefront and although there is more work to be done, there is recognition and steps being made to address the need for support. For many of our patients, and for many of us, exercise and being active is a vital part of both physical health and mental health. We listen to patients speak of the necessity of physical activity and its importance in thinking with a clear mind, improved concentration and the ability to cope with life stresses on a day to day basis. Many people feel the effects of injury on both the body and the mind. Our goal as physiotherapists is to improve the health of your body and in turn, facilitate a happy, healthy mind. Do not let an injury sideline your ability to be physically active. Physiotherapy is here to help restore movement and in turn, help you regain physical and mental health and happiness.
