The Opioid Crisis!

We are in the midst of an opioid crisis…substance use disorder, overdose and death. This is indeed a crisis! Many people are turning to opioids to manage pain. Canada is the second largest per capita user of prescription opioids in the world. The Canadian Physiotherapy Association believes that “the answer to the crisis can be found upstream”. They believe that “conservative pain management, including physiotherapy, needs to be optimized”. Read below to see what the federal Minister of Health, and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association are committing to in order to address the crisis!

TELEHEALTH SERVICES ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Hello ABIM Community!

Due to the current COVID-19 and social distancing recommendations, our clinics are closed until it is safe for all of us to return.

This decision was not made lightly, however your health and well being have always been our top priority. Now more than ever, we are committed to keeping you safe and healthy.

We are offering TELEHEALTH SERVICES which will allow you to maintain your health as top priority and to initiate or continue your therapy journey with us. Our goal is to support you with virtual treatment until we can re-open our clinic doors.

Visit our “TeleHealth Services” page on our website to learn more and as always, email us at [email protected] with any questions or to make a virtual appointment!
