A Body In Motion’s Massage Therapy Team is growing again and we are looking for a very enthusiastic and motivated Registered Massage Therapist to become a part of our family and meet the demands of our ever-growing practice! We would love the opportunity to meet those individuals interested in joining our team.
Our physiotherapist owned clinics are located just outside of downtown Kitchener and at the Medical Center at The Boardwalk in Waterloo and are beautifully built, warm and welcoming spaces. Our goal is to provide an integrative and supportive environment to all team members in an enjoyable atmosphere that has continued to flourish over the last 18 years. Our clinics offer Registered Massage Therapy along with Registered Physiotherapy and Pelvic Physiotherapy. This has allowed us to work as a collaborative team to ensure our clients are receiving the very best care from a team that is incredibly caring and compassionate.
Massage Therapy Details
*sound-proofed room in a full functioning physiotherapy clinic with the initiative of collaborative integrated healthcare.
*ABIM has the sole rights to massage therapy within both buildings and for this reason, there will be no other massage therapy services competing
*full access to reception coverage which will include answering phones, booking appointments and fielding client questions during designated ABIM reception hours.
*fully accessible washroom located directly next to the massage room for convenience for therapists and clients.
*ABIM written material, website and signage will indicate massage therapy on site.
*monthly room rent will be discussed
*space is available beginning September 1st, 2019
*security for the building will be implemented according to clinic hours which will be Mon to Thurs 6am to 7pm and Friday 6am to 4pm. The option of hours on Saturday and Sunday will be at the RMT’s discretion as ABIM will not operate on weekends however the building will be open to accommodate those who wish to work weekends.
*your lease will account for one half of the available billable time (which equals full time hours if desired) and will be shared equally with your RMT partner. Hours will be divided equally and fairly and changes will require written approval by the leaser and agreed to by both leasing RMT’s.
*the use of the point of sale machine will currently be available. RMT’s will provide an outline of POS transactions bi-weekly and will be given a cheque for those fees. An outline of necessary information on will be provided.
*there will be no laundry services provided.
*office supplies will not be provided.
*RMT’s will be required to generate their own invoices for their clients and the receptionist will handle transactions, obtain payment and provide your invoices to your clients during scheduled receptionist hours.
*scheduling software/massage therapy scheduling book to be utilized by the ABIM staff to assist with bookings will be the responsibility of the RMT.
*business cards/print material/uniforms/any other materials including lotions, creams, etc required to operate the massage therapy business will be the responsibility of the individual RMT however ABIM staff will assist.
Our long standing and respectful relationships with medical doctors, obstetrician/gynecologists, urologists, midwives, naturopaths, registered massage therapists, chiropractors, surgeons and osteopaths as well as the most incredible referrals from current and past patients, and colleagues continue to expand our practice and we are looking for an exceptional massage therapist who is eager to grow in a thriving environment.
